1. Overview

PaySave ("we", "our", or "the app") provides payment tier discounts and checkout payment method customizations for Shopify merchants. We are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants and their customers.

2. Data We Collect & Process

PaySave operates primarily through native Shopify Checkout Extensibility and Shopify Functions. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Merchant Store Information: Store domain, shop ID, and access tokens needed to authenticate with the Shopify Admin API.
• Configuration Data: Payment tier definitions (labels, discounts, mapped gateways) stored directly in your store's Shopify Shop Metafields.
• Cart Attributes: When a customer selects a payment tier at checkout, a temporary cart attribute (selected_payment_tier) is written to calculate discounts and filter payment methods.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

PaySave does not collect, store, or sell:

• Buyer credit card, debit card, or banking details.
• Customer personal identities, email addresses, or phone numbers.
• Customer order histories or tracking data.

4. GDPR & Data Deletion Compliance

PaySave strictly complies with GDPR, CCPA, and Shopify's mandatory Privacy Webhook standards. When an app uninstalls or a shop redaction request is received from Shopify, all corresponding merchant session records are automatically deleted from our databases.
